Everything youmight ask.
A few notes to help you arrive prepared and leave with color you love, from the daylight consultation to how we care for your hair long after you’ve left the chair. For anything else, we’re always a message away.
- Before Your Visit
Every appointment begins with a consultation in natural daylight, so please arrive with completely clean hair and no product. It lets us read your true texture, condition, and color.
Bring a photo of the color you envision, and if you can, a few images of shades you have loved before. The more detailed the conversation, the better we understand your goal and your personal taste.
For the best result we recommend scheduling your haircut before any color service. The cut is the foundation; color is the makeup that enhances its shape, movement, and personality.
Share your lifestyle with your stylist so we can advise the cut and color that suit you, and that you can maintain and style easily at home.
Please tell us about any allergies, sensitivities, or previous reactions before your appointment. Our team will review your concerns and advise on the next steps. We cannot guarantee that a product is suitable for everyone.
Ingredients vary by product and formula. Contact our team and we will check the specific product information for you. If you prefer to avoid ammonia, we offer an ammonia-free Single Process.
- Our Craft
It is a freehand highlighting technique painted strand by strand, with no foils and no harsh lines. Our guiding philosophy is “less is more”: natural, effortless color created with a contemporary, healthy, and sustainable approach.
Our signature method is Consult, Create, Complete. We assess your hair and your goals, create a personalized result, and guide you on maintaining it at home.
Yes. We assess your previous color and the condition of your hair, then create a personalized correction plan. A consultation is required first.
Every correction is different, so pricing is set after your consultation, once we have seen your hair and agreed on a plan.
We offer Hair Contour, our face-framing highlighting service, as seen on Olivia Palermo. It brightens around the face and is ideal between full balayage appointments.
We do not offer routine standalone lowlights. When hair needs its depth restored, we do it through our Color Balance service.
Yes. We offer professional haircuts and styling. Pricing and availability depend on the stylist you book with.
Yes. Treatments are recommended according to your hair's condition and needs, and we will advise on them at your appointment.
No. We do not use chemical smoothing treatments such as keratin. Instead we focus on restoring the hair through high-quality repair so it stays healthy through every color service.
- Hair Health
Lightening can affect the condition of your hair. We prioritize hair health, use professional products, and avoid unnecessary processing. If your hair is already damaged, we work toward your goals with a long-term plan.
We can assess your hair and recommend a plan to improve its appearance and protect its condition. Some cases need more than one appointment. We focus on long-term hair health rather than a quick fix.
It depends on your hair history, its condition, and the result you want. Some transformations take more than one visit, and we may decline a service if your hair is not healthy enough for it.
- Aftercare
We exclusively use and recommend Milbon hair care, chosen because it supports the health and integrity of the hair while delivering exceptional results.
Our signature choice is the Milbon Repair line, designed to strengthen, nourish, and protect the hair after color. We will guide you on a simple routine to keep your color luminous between visits.
Because balayage grows out softly, most guests return every three to six months. Your stylist will recommend a rhythm at your consultation based on your color and how you like to wear it.
Yes. Minimize hot tools, use a heat protectant, and follow a gentle styling routine to protect both the health of your hair and your color.
Professional color is an investment. Consistent home care protects your hair's condition, shine, and color longevity. Beautiful color begins in the studio, and keeping it is a partnership between your colorist and you.
- Appointments
You can book directly through our online booking page. If you are unsure which service is right for you, start with a consultation and we will design the visit together.
Most color services take about 45 minutes to an hour and a half. Color corrections and Grey Blending can take longer.
New clients pay a 50% deposit to hold their time. Deposits are refundable only when you cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment. With less notice, if the appointment is missed, or once your appointment has taken place, the deposit is non-refundable.
Services are non-refundable once completed. If you're not happy with your color, contact the studio within seven days of your appointment: under our 7-day color-adjustment policy you may return so we can adjust it. Refunds are not given for completed services, including when a color changes over time or a preference changes later.
Consultations with our team members are complimentary: book one online as a Complimentary Consultation, or call, text or email the studio to arrange one. Consultations with Abby are $200 and non-refundable, and the $200 is applied to your service if it is scheduled within two weeks of the consultation.
